What is Mental Health Ministry?
Mental Health Ministry is designed to provide vital spiritual accompaniment by offering a ministry of presence in the lives of people who struggle with mental health and wellness; and to help overcome the stigma and discrimination that people living with a mental illness encounter in the Church and in society.
Not a clinical resource and not intended to serve as a substitute for treatment or counseling with a qualified professional, the path to mental wellness requires three things:
- People who care.
- Places that are safe.
- Purpose and mission.

Our management is honored to serve on the Diocese of Columbus Mental Health Ministery's Advisory Group and Parish Ministry Training Team. Through this work, we support the development of Catholic teachings rooted in accompaniment, hope, faith, and the dignity of the human person.
